Are you experiencing challenges getting drugs for anesthesia protocols and pain control? If you haven't yet, you likely will in the near future.

Join Maddie's Shelter Medicine Wednesday May 27th at 4pm EDT for a free webinar on "Navigating Drug Shortages After COVID" presented by renowned anesthesiologist and pain management specialist Dr. Sheilah Robertson. Dr Robertson will help Florida shelter and nonprofit clinic veterinarians navigate current and anticipated drug shortages during this time of COVID-19. She will provide tips on how to stay agile and plan ahead, as well as information about drugs that have had their “use by” dates extended. No advanced registration is required.  There is no calendar invite - just add the following link to your own calendar.

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic impacted us, The Association’s Spring Conference for Animal Welfare was designed to help attendees closely examine ways to build resilience, both for themselves and the organizations they represent. Now those messages seem all the more timely and relevant.

This virtual conference, scheduled for June 16-17, will deliver concurrent session tracks – Outreach, Field Services, Fundraising and Shelter Medicine – as well as two important sessions on COVID-19: The COVID-19 Response: Using Science to Separate Fact from Fiction and Communicating Collectively for Greater Impact During COVID-19. Attendees will have varied opportunities to engage with each other and The Association’s industry partners.  There will also be a virtual exhibit hall where attendees can learn about the latest goods and services exhibitors offer to help us in our work!
