OUR INITIATIVES
Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations (FAAWO) is a consortium of non-profit and municipal animal shelters, rescue groups, and dedicated advocates working together to positively impact animal welfare in Florida.
ADVOCATE for meaningful animal welfare legislation and policies that strengthen protections for animals and support the organizations that serve them.
RESPOND when shelters and communities are impacted by hurricanes and other disasters, coordinating resources, assistance, and support where it is needed most.
SUPPORT shelters with lifesaving transport resources to move animals and critical supplies where they are needed most.
EMPOWER Florida’s animal welfare professionals through specialized training, leadership, development, conferences, and collaboration.
