The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is seeking a full-time Special Events Coordinator who is responsible for planning and carrying out all special events. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer and works within a prescribed budget with strict established timelines. Responsible for generating expense reports and income data for each event. Coordinates with outside vendors and directs the work of event volunteers. Must work some evenings and weekends. Must be organized and have a friendly, positive, outgoing attitude and most of all LOVE animals and people !!! Must be able to work well with event attendees, Humane Society staff, committee members, partners and volunteers.
- Starting date of this position will be the end of June 2020
- This is an entry level position, pay will be based on experience.
- Non-profit and previous experience in event planning is preferred.
